alright. i have to say, i was uneasy about the direction that megatokyo was headed for a while, what with the odd nnn.... promis... just iffy things between characters. but... i think there is hope yet. they're starting to act more human.

The Claddagh's distinctive design features two hands clasping a heart, and usually surmounted by a crown. The elements of this symbol are often said to correspond to the qualities of love (the heart), friendship (the hands), and loyalty (the crown).

The way that a Claddagh ring is worn on the hand is usually intended to convey the wearer's romantic availability, or lack thereof. Traditionally, if the ring is on the right hand with the heart facing outward and away from the body, this indicates that the person wearing the ring is not in any serious relationship, and may in fact be single and looking for a relationship: "their heart is open." When worn on the right hand but with the heart facing inward toward the body, this indicates the person wearing the ring is in a relationship, or that "someone has captured their heart". A Claddagh worn on the left hand with the heart facing outward is often a sign of being engaged, and the ring on the left hand facing inward toward the body generally indicates that the wearer is married.

Pink Candle Week!

its been a long time. its pink candle week, and for me, the week of several dates with my Angel, and a few phone calls ending in euphoric tears. i just want to wish everyone a merry christmas and a happy holiday vacation, you'll get your christmas presents on january 3rd. XD
currently eating leftover noodles and venison steak. mmm-mmmmm

Last night was the Trans-Siberian Orchestra concert in Wilks-Barre.
It was absolutely amazing.

The first half of the concert was TSO's first album, Christmas Eve and Other Stories. If you're not familiar with TSO's Christmas albums, they tell a story through a long narrative poem in between the songs. The story told in all of the songs are heartwarming, sometimes even chilling, when you realize the message you never quite heard the first time you listened...
I think my mom said it best in describing the concert overall.
"If I didn't have the goosebumps, I was crying. It was beyond words."

The second half was just fun. They played songs from the newest album, The Lost Christmas Eve, from their non-Christmas album, and stuff you just know... Flight of the Bumblebee. Beethoven's Fifth.

The lights were ...wow.

Yeah I'm still blown away by it.

she then poured it into a glass and sat at her computer and drank her juice
it made her happy for a little while
then she went outside and it was snowing
so she decided to fly
